Lachin district is allocated to the west of Shusha area and being bounded with Armenia. The area is known as resort-recreational zone having been enriched with mineral waters like Nazran.
In Lachin district there is historical monuments: in Khochaz village - cave - temple (V century), mausoleum (XIII century), in Jimjimli village - Malikajar entombment (XIV century), in Zeyva village - Kafir fortress (XVII century), in Khusnu village - place of Khamzasultan (XVIII century), bridge across Khanary river (XVIII century).
